Interdisciplinary Resources for Transfer Students | Joining the SLC Interdisciplinary Program Staff
General Information
The SLC Interdisciplinary Program intends to support students looking to meet the research, writing and reading demands at the upper division level to advance as a scholar. The program offers academic support toward research readiness to those students making this transition from general education and breadth courses to intense research and quantitative methods courses. The program strives to create a community of scholars who work together to master the demands of a given discipline and support each other in achieving their academic goals.
The following positions for Spring 2009 will be needed and can be applied for up until the second week of the semester:
• Sociology 5 Study Group Leader
• Psychology 101 Study Group Leader
• Research Writing Workshop Leader
