SLC Biology 1B Services: Fall 2009
The SLC offers two types of support for students in Bio 1B:
Drop-In Tutoring for Bio 1B

The SLC provides Drop-in tutoring for all students in Bio 1B. Students can come in and talk to a tutor on a first-come, first served basis. The tutors work with students individually or sometimes in small groups, and can answer questions about lectures, course texts, homework problems, sample exams and labs.
No prior signing up is required for Drop-in tutoring. Just come by! Drop-in tutoring is a great way to meet and work with fellow students as well as to get assistance with your course work.
Individual Tutoring
The SLC can sometimes provide a small number of students with weekly 1-on-1 tutors for Bio 1B. Because of limited resources, we typically do this for students who are having difficulty with the course. If you might be interested in having a weekly meeting with a tutor, please email
