Thinking about designing & facilitating a class for next semester? Wondering how to start a student-facilitated course?

Attend a StartUp Workshop in the Student Learning Center!

We'll address procedural and pedagogical matters such as:

Requirements of starting a student-facilitated course
Finding a faculty sponsor
Completing the course proposal form
Writing a syllabus
Resources and funding available to you as a facilitator
Campus policies and guidelines
Reserving a room and obtaining CCNs for your course
Publicizing your course and managing enrollment
Making your class fun and engaging

Workshop Location and Times

StartUp Workshops will be held in the Chavez Student Center. The Workshop schedule for March will be posted soon -- watch this space for updates.
