Conduct phone banking and attend in-person recruitment events to explain the benefits of Bridge to newly admitted freshmen and their parents. Discussion Leader (Open to graduate students only)
Facilitate weekly discussion sections for Bridge social sciences courses (e.g. ESPM 50AC, Ethnic Studies 10AC, Geography 50AC). Confer regularly with course instructors, hold office hours, monitor student progress, grade student work, attend weekly staff meetings, maintain student attendance records, and make appropriate referrals.

Peer Academic Counselor Intern
Support the academic counseling component of Bridge by shadowing and assisting current Peer Academic Counselors as they meet with students about academic, personal, and career questions and concerns. Assist with small group activities, workshops, seminars, and panels.

Peer Adviser – Athletic Study Center
Contribute to the successful transition of student athletes by providing peer mentorship on academic and University expectations, and assisting with the facilitation of a weekly seminar on balancing the responsibilities of being both a scholar and an athlete. Summer Positions - Residential
Provide guidance and resources to the RA staff as they build positive community, plan programs and activities, and respond to resident concerns. Supervise and train Security Monitor staff to ensure the overall safety and security of the residence halls.
Encourage a sense of community among the students in the residence halls, coordinate programs and activities that facilitate positive relationships, act as a mediator in conflict situations and provide resources and support to assist students with their transition to Cal.
Ensure the overall safety and security of the residence hall by greeting students when they enter, swiping their ID cards to verify residency, signing in guests, checking out equipment, and responding to crisis and safety concerns of the building.
