How to Sign Up:
No prior signing-up is required. Just come to the Science Drop-in Tutoring Area on 2nd floor Chávez during an open hour for your class. Be sure to sign-in at the Drop-in computer when you arrive and then go have a seat at the Physics tutoring tables.
SLC Physics Study Parties
A Physics Study Party is basically a way for students to get together for a couple hours and work on SLC-selected problems together with SLC Physics tutors to help guide them. We typically hold Physics Study Parties the weekend before a Physics exam.
At a Physics Study Party, we'll typically have these:
A bunch of exam style problems posted around the building for you to work on and ask questions about;
A conceptual question zone so that you can make sure that you are understanding the concepts underlying the physics problems.
6-10 tutors stationed at different areas so that you can do what will help you the most.
A Drop-in tutoring/study zone where you can study with other students and ask our tutors about any questions you have.
How to Sign Up
No prior signing up to attend a Physics Study Party is needed and any student may attend. The schedule of each Physics Study Party will be posted here and also typically through an email and on our Facebook page.
