We are thrilled to extend to you our warmest invitation to the SLC Writing Program’s inaugural Creative Writing Festival, happening Friday, May 9, from 12-2PM! With this year’s theme, Writing as Healing: Coming Together Across Difference, we’ll be gathering together to celebrate the transformative power of writing, and to spark connection, imagination, and community.
You’ll be treated to powerful original work read by our contributors, and opportunities to build community through conversations with fellow attendees. So, join us in the César Chávez Student Center Atrium to hear poetry and stories, enjoy a meal together, and begin creating the world we want to see. Please RSVP by 11:59PM Saturday, May 3 to help us plan.
Additionally, we would love to connect with Writing and Creative Writing student groups on campus! If your group would like to table at the event, please provide your information and we will follow up with further details.
