The SLC Economics Program provides tutorial support for all Cal students taking Economics 1, 2, 100A, 100B, 136, 140 and other equivalents. We serve as a platform for students to learn from one another and succeed together.
Serving the second largest and most diverse major on campus, our program seeks to connect Cal undergraduates to fellow peers, faculty, and practitioners who are passionate about the discipline and eager to support their success. Through formats of service that place students at the center of their own learning, we aim to strengthen their sense of belonging as well as their academic confidence. By fostering a learning culture that values process over product, collaboration over competition, and mastery over short-term gains, we provide students with the skills to wield the tools of economics to analyze and serve the world.
