In observance of Labor Day, the Student Learning Center will be closed on Monday, September 4th. This federal holiday, declared by the U.S. Congress in 1894, celebrates the achievements and contributions of workers in America.

If you can believe it, we have just one more month until the Fall semester and the start of your DeCal facilitation!

At this juncture, many of you may have submitted your DeCal proposals to the Academic Senate and are waiting to hear back about the status of your courses.

The Student Learning Center (SLC) will commemorate Juneteenth. This day acknowledges that over two years after the Emancipation Proclamation went into effect, the declaration of freedom ultimately reached remaining enslaved Black people on June 19, 1865, in Galveston Bay, Texas.
