Drop-In Tutoring

Drop-In Tutoring is a virtual collaborative space powered by Zoom designed to encourage students to work with tutors or each other on problem sets, concepts, theory, or anything else related to the material in their courses. The tutors may provide a conceptual framework on a given concept or create parallel problems to assess and develop content mastery. Typically at peak times there are about 10 tutors available every hour to work with students in small groups or individually. Drop-In Tutoring is provided for the following courses: Math 1AB, 10AB, 16AB, 32, 53, 54, 55 and Stat 2, 20, 21, and 134.

For the rest of the Spring 2020 semester, all drop-in tutoring is online through Zoom.

Virtual Math/Stat Drop-In, powered by Zoom, is open with full staffing Monday through Thursday 12-4. In addition, during Monday-Thursday 10-12 and 4-6, and Friday 12-4, we have collaboration hours where a limited number of tutors will be able to work with students while they collaborate on their work. We guarantee to have first-year calculus support during collaboration hours, but may also have other tutors as well.

For detailed hours when tutors who focus on specific courses are available, please click here and examine the different tabs for different days.

However, we encourage you to also use the Zoom meeting space outside of those hours, since there are often knowledgeable students and staff present throughout the day.
