Methods of Mathematics: Calculus, Statistics, and Combinatorics
The sequence Math 10A, Math 10B is intended for majors in the life sciences. Introduction to differential and integral calculus of functions of one variable, ordinary differential equations, and matrix algebra and systems of linear equations.
Note that the Math Department does not currently offer Math 10A during spring semesters.
Fall 2021 Services Offered
Adjunct Courses are optional one-credit courses taken to supplement a lecture course.
Study Groups are non-credit-bearing study sessions for students to work together on worksheets.
Drop-In Tutoring is a virtual collaborative space powered by Zoom for students to work and study with each other and with tutors.

How to Sign Up for the Fall 2021 Math 10A Adjunct Course

If you are interested in enrolling in the Fall 2021 Math 10A adjunct course you must enroll in or be on the waiting list for Math 10A.
In order to enroll in the adjunct, you must attend its first meeting or contact its instructor by the day of the first meeting. The adjunct instructor will distribute the course number to all students who have shown commitment to the adjunct course by the end of the Adjustment Period. This allows students to decide if the adjunct course is right for them before they fully commit to the course. Please note that enrollment is limited, so students must attend the first meeting of the adjunct course or contact the instructor by the day of the first meeting of the adjunct course.
